Patty Jo's Story
Hi Ya'll, yes I moved south 23 years ago. It has taken me just about that long to acclimate to life in the great state of Texas! It was a shock for me to move first to south Texas where I was a minority but learned to love and accept the Hispanic culture. I've been in north Texas for the past 21 years. I work for a huge school district in Carrollton-Farmers Branch as their safety/property insurance specialist. We have 55 campuses. I am eligible to retire but I love working.

who were raised strict - they go wild, which I did for many years. I have not been successful in the marriage department (3 failed marriages / 6 yrs. 5 yrs & 23 yrs) but I truly learned from each one. A marriage cannot be broken by one person, it takes two and I take half the blame on each one.
My only child was born out of my first marriage. She and my only granddaughter still live in C'ville. I visit about 3 times a year.
I've survived two different cancers (thyroid and scalp); therefore I try to remain positive and the greatest lesson I've learned is to know how to forgive the ones you love.
